Staff

Craig Boomhower, Funeral Director/Embalmer Craig is a graduate of Dighton High School, Dodge City Community College, and Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science. He has owned the funeral home in Dighton since 1979 and became a partner in Garnand Funeral Home in 1991. Craig lives in Garden City and serves as President of Ranger Feeders II, LLC, a commercial cattle feeding business located east of Dighton.

Darin Bradstreet, Funeral Director/Embalmer Darin is a graduate of Dighton High School, Dodge City Community College and the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. He became a partner in Garnand Funeral Home in 1991. Darin and his wife, Jeanne, live in Garden City and have three children.

Darrin Figgins, Funeral Director/Embalmer Darrin is native to the area as a graduate of Stanton County High School in Johnson. He went on to study at Colby Community College, and the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond where he obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in funeral service. Darrin and his wife, Stacy have resided in Ulysses since 1995. Darrin was previously employed by Phillips Mortuary and has been with Garnand Funeral Home since its acquisition in 1998. Darrin became a partner in Garnand Funeral Home in September of 1999.

Martha Luna, Assistant Funeral Director Martha started at Garnand Funeral Home in 1971. Today, she holds an assistant funeral director’s license. Martha is fluent in Spanish and works directly with families who prefer to speak Spanish while making funeral arrangements. Martha also serves as the lead secretary in Garden City and answers phone calls for all Garnand locations.

Dustin Daniels, Funeral Director/Embalmer Dustin is native to the area as a graduate of Stanton County High School in Johnson. He went on to study at Garden City Community College, and the University Of Central Oklahoma where he obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in funeral service. Dustin and his wife, Angie reside in Hugoton.

Colette Reinheimer, Assistant Funeral Director Colette has lived in Ulysses for over 25 years and has been a licensed Assistant Funeral Director for Garnand Funeral Home since 2005.

Alejandro Nieto, Assistant Funeral Director Alex is native to the area as a graduate of Ulysses High School. He went on to study at Garden City Community College, and the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service where he obtained his degree in Mortuary Science. Alex is also fluent in Spanish and has been associated with Garnand Funeral Home since 2005. Alex currently lives in Garden City.

Mary Lou Williams, Assistant Funeral Director Mary Lou is a licensed Assistant Funeral Director and has been with Garnand Funeral Home since 1993. Mary Lou and her husband, Royce live in Lakin.

Margaret Herman, Assistant Funeral Director  and Licensed Agent Margaret is a licensed insurance agent and works with the families of Southwest Kansas in prearranging funerals. She is also director of the aftercare program for the funeral home. Margaret resides in Dighton.

Raymond Luna, Maintenance Raymond lives in Garden City and has been with the funeral home since 1980. He is responsible for the maintenance of the buildings and vehicles. Raymond also does the cemetery tent set-ups and vault installations.
