Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the Word Of Life Church in Garden City, Kansas with Pastor Marty Younger officiating.
Interment: Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.


A memorial has been established in Erasmo Ibarra name in care of Garnand Funeral Home.


Erasmo Ibarra, 55 of Garden City, Kansas, died Saturday, January 26, 2013 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born May 16, 1957 in Namiquipa, Chihuahua, Mexico, the son of Erasmo and Maria Luisa (Nevarez) Ibarra.


Erasmo had been a Garden City resident since 1986 moving here from California. He married Priscilla Marroquin on January 9, 1994 in Garden City, Kansas. Erasmo worked for Dr. Fry Associates as a janitor for over 22 years. He was a member of the Word of Life Church. Erasmo enjoyed doing Ministry at the Finney County Jail, yard work, attending Church activities, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Priscilla.


He is survived by four daughters, Raquel Luna of Pueblo, Colorado, Monica Luna of Las Vegas, Nevada, Marissa Ibarra and Delilah Ibarra both of Garden City, Kansas; seven brothers, Juan Manuel Ibarra of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Martin Ibarra of Chihuahua, Mexico, Jesus Maria Ibarra of Guymon, Oklahoma, Miguel Angel Ibarra of Las Cruzes, New Mexico, Rodrigo Ibarra of Guymon, Oklahoma, Efren Ibarra of Chihuahua, Mexico, Alfredo Ibarra of Chihuahua, Mexico; three sisters, Maria Estela Ibarra of Chihuahua, Mexico, Maria Teresa Ibarra of Chihuahua, Mexico, Ofelia Ibarra of Chihuahua, Mexico; and 13 grandchildren.
