Graveside Service: 9:00 AM on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Hugoton Cemetery in Hugoton, Kansas with Pastor Eric Mason officiating.
Interment: Hugoton Cemetery in Hugoton, Kansas.


Memorial contributions may be given to the Moscow School Athletic Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 423 S Main, Hugoton, KS 67951.


Charles O. Broaddus III “Charlie B.”, age 57, died Saturday, September 21, 2013 in Hugoton, Kansas. He was born November 7, 1955 in Hugoton, Kansas, the son of Charles O. Jr. and Juanita Evelyn (Miller) Broaddus.


Charlie grew up in Hugoton and graduated from Hugoton High School. He received his mechanic training at General Motors Technical training. He owned and operated Charlie’s Light Truck Service. He married Cindy Bressler on March 1, 1985 in Hugoton.


Survivors include his wife, Cindy of their home; daughter, Brandi Laura Broaddus of Trinidad, Colorado; son, Chip Howard Broaddus of Woodward, Oklahoma; father, Charles O. Broaddus Jr. of Hugoton, Kansas; sisters, Beverly E. Young and husband (Ret) Col. Morris M. of Niceville, Florida, Barbara C. McCaskell of Hugoton, Kansas, Virginia A. Martin and husband Jeffrey D. of Hugoton, Kansas; and brother, Mark K. Broaddus and wife Jennifer of Memphis, Tennessee.


Charlie is preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Broaddus on April 15, 2013.
