Glen attended Lonestar District #22 Country School in Gray County and Garden City Junior High and Garden City High School. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. After his discharge he returned to Gray County and was a lifelong farmer near Montezuma. He moved into Garden City in 1976. He enjoyed making and repairing toys and building bicycles for family and neighborhood kids. He was preceded in death by his Parents, 1 Brother- Dean L. Ginest & 1 Sister- Norma L. Lilly.
