Obituary for Barbara Jo Hahn
Barbara Jo Hahn, 60 of Garden City died Saturday, September 13, 2014 in Wichita, Kansas. She was born August 23, 1954 in Garden City the daughter of Jackson & Marjorie (Deck) Norton.
Barbara grew up in Garden City and attended Garden City schools. She later attended Garden City Community College. Barbara has worked at Nature’s Way in Garden City for 21 years. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, and her dogs.
On December 13, 1971, Barbara married Gregory Hahn in Garden City. He died March 5, 2008. Barbara is also preceded in death by her mother; a sister Ann Burnett; and three brothers Gerald Norton, Steven Norton, and Jimmy Norton. Survivors include a daughter Heather English of Wichita, Kansas; a son Jeremy Hahn of Garden City; her father Jackson Norton of Garden City; a brother Jerry Norton of Garden City; and one grandchild.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. There will be no calling hours.
