Quintil was born and raised in Mexico. He moved to Garden City, Kansas in 2001 to be closer to his children. He was a farmer in Mexico. He enjoyed playing the tuba, playing soccer, and in his younger days riding bulls. Preceded in death by parents, wife, numerous siblings and 1 daughter, Concepcion Dominguez.
