Bonifacio was born and raised in Clayton, New Mexico. He moved to Garden City in 1968. He was an operator, cutter for Western Alfalfa for 9 years before retiring in 1986. Hobbies included
farming and gardening. He enjoyed the outdoors. He was in the Army and served in World War II from 1942-1943
He was preceded in death by her parents- Christino and Celia Vigil, and siblings- Joe Vigil, Faye Cruz, Veronica Cruz, and Esther Casados.
Survivors:
Daughter: Mary Vigil Clayton, New Mexico
Siblings: Victor Vigil Albuquerque, New Mexico
Mary Trujillo Clayton, New Mexico
Brother-in-law: James Casados Garden City, Kansas
Numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday May 13, 2015 at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, KS
