William served in the United States Army and after his discharge he graduated college in California. William taught in Colorado and then moved to Garden City and taught at Abe Hubert Junior High before moving to Garden City High School where he taught world history and cultural anthropology. He loved music, drama, movies and loved to teach his students. He was preceded in death by his parents.
