Obituary for Victoria J. Thomas

Name: Victoria J. Thomas
Victoria J. Thomas, 63 died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. She was born August 10, 1952 in Garden City the daughter of Bob & Agnes Faith (Fulton) Landon.
Victoria grew up in Deerfield, Kansas where she attended school. After graduating from Deerfield High School in 1971, she attended Garden City Community College. Victoria worked at Garden City Uniform for several years. She then worked as a custodian for USD #457 in Garden City. Victoria also owned and operated her own photography business “Thomas Portraits.” She was a member of the Deerfield United Methodist Church and a life member of the Veterans of Vietnam War Auxiliary. She enjoyed photography, fishing and spending time with her family.
On August 17, 1985 she married LeRoy Thomas in Deerfield, Kansas. He survives. Other survivors include two children Jeremy Landon Thomas of El Reno, Oklahoma and Erik Thomas of Topeka, Kansas; her father Bob Landon of Deerfield, Kansas; a sister Dixie Renstrom of Kalvesta, Kansas; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. Victoria is preceded in death by her mother; and 2 brothers Larry Landon and Danny Landon.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City with Rev. Doug Olson officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. Friends may call from Noon to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. The family request memorials given to the Garden City Community College Endowment Fund in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be given at garnandfuneralhomes.com.
