Obituary for Gary J. Wyatt
Gary J. Wyatt, 51 died Wednesday July 6, 2016 at Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City. He was born September 10, 1964 in Ulysses, Kansas.
Gary moved with his family to Garden City when he was a young child. He attended Garden City schools. He later moved to Scott City in 2014 and has lived in Scott City since. Gary worked most of his life as a welder for Palmer Manufacturing Co.
Survivors include his mother Delorse Prater of Garden City; 3 brothers Donald Wyatt of Norfolk, Nebraska, Norman Wyatt of Garden City, and Marvin Wyatt of Scott City; and 2 sisters Dona
Allen-Roth of Garden City and Janet Wilson of Garden City. Gary is preceded in death by his step-father Eugene Prater.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 11, 2016 at the Chapel of Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City with Rev. Lynn White officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later date. There will be no calling hours. The family request memorials given to the Gary Wyatt Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
