Obituary for Jana Kaye Redd-Williams

Jana Kaye Redd-Williams, 57 died Thursday, July 21, 2016 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. She was born November 8, 1958 in Garden City, the daughter of Harold George & Vana Ruth (Millard) Redd.
A lifetime resident of Garden City, Jana attended Garden City schools and graduated from Garden City High School in 1976. She then attended Garden City Community College and Rick’s College in Rexburg, Idaho. She has worked as a phlebotomist at St. Catherine Hospital and Siena Medical Clinic in Garden City for 34 years. She recently retired in 2015. Jana was a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, the Relief Society, and she taught children’s Sunday School Classes. She enjoyed collecting bears, playing board games, and visiting with people.
On May 12, 1994, Jana married Clifford Lewis Williams in Lamar, Colorado. He survives. Other survivors include her father George Redd of Garden City; a son Blair Alder Redd of Las Vegas, Nevada; 2 daughters Mackenzie Renee Redd-Williams of Garden City and Caylea Jean Redd-Williams of Garden City; a brother Harold W. Redd of Garden City; a sister Jura Redd of Las Vegas, Nevada; and 5 grandchildren. Jana is preceded in death by her mother Vana Ruth Redd.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2016 at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints in Garden City with Bishop Lance Palmer officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. The family request memorials given to the Jana Redd-Williams Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home.
