Anita was born in Guymon Oklahoma. She was raised and attended school in Liberal, graduating in 1994. She also lived in Flagstaff Arizona before finally settling in Wichita, where she met and fell in love with Felipe. Although her family had only been in Garden City for three months they had already considered it a good place to live. She attended both Fort Hays University and K-State before finally becoming a social worker. Her daughters valued the time she spent with them showing them how to cook and clean and watching Gray’s Anatomy. Her other loves included cats, especially George. Other hobbies included sewing, fishing and listening to Metallica. Her life was a book full of love and laughter.

She was preceded in death by her father-Dewayne Hart, maternal grandparents-Alice & Sidney Keene (Liberal, KS), & paternal grandparents-Mr. & Mrs Alfred Hart.
