Condolence From: Connie Lohman
Condolence: There are so many good things I remember about Deke, he was a family friend for as long as I can remember. He was so good at telling jokes especially to my Mom Ruby Lohman, he loved to hear her laugh. He and Bud stacked and hauled bales for the Lohman's for years. Deke always had a smile on his face that would make everyone's day. We will miss you Deke!!!

Condolence From: Bryan Schrader
Condolence: My deepest sympathy to the entire Jennings family. Deke will be missed by us all. The man truly loved helping the younger generation learn how to compete in rodeo. Most flank men don't have the patience to work with kids the way he did. He did it for years with patience, a smile, and a laugh. It was also obvious that he loved working with the rest of his family putting on rodeos. If you have ever been to a J-J rodeo at any level, you saw first hand how they all enjoyed giving each other a hard time in the middle of putting on a first class rodeo. He was one of the best! Well done Deke Jennings!

Condolence From: Baru Forell
Condolence: A great guy and great family riding on Higher ground now. Always enjoyed the rodeos at Lakin and the great Jennings rodeo family, when barrel racing in the 1980's at Kansas rodeos(then KSRA.) Heartfelt condolences to the family and so many friends of the Jennings family that will be affected by the end of an era.

Condolence From: Tom Miller family
Condolence: I would like to say that Deke and the whole Jennings and Lakin rodeo crew were very instrumental in raising my "little cowgirl" Emily. Without y'alls patience and help she'd never be where she's at today. It's truly been a great ride my friend!! Carry on and we'll see you later
