Obituary for Brenda Diane Kirk
Brenda Diane Kirk, age 52, of Johnson, Kansas died Monday, February 27, 2017, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born July 17, 1964, in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Billy Gene and Betty Jean (Posey) Wise.
Brenda grew up in Johnson and graduated from Stanton County High School in 1982. She was always happy and loved her family, animals, and especially her kitten. Brenda also enjoyed connecting with friends through face book.
She is survived by her son, Eric Cota and wife Marenda of Litchfield, Illinois; sister, Amber Horton and husband Mike of Johnson, Kansas; two grandchildren, Lexi and Jacob Cota; nieces, Lacey Scott and husband Michael of Salida, Colorado, Samantha Fuentes and husband Hunter of Houston, Texas; great-niece, Posey; and best friends and caretakers, Tim and Becky Dunford.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 3, 2017, at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Johnson, Kansas with Reverend Kurt Rovenstine officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson. Memorial contributions may be given to the Benincasa in care of Garnand Funeral Home, PO Box 715, Johnson, Kansas 67855.
