Later he lived in Salina and Dewey, Oklahoma. He had been employed at Wal-Mart, Goodwill & Southard Home Improvement. Most recently he was a truck driver for different companies. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and swimming. He was a very talented pool player, joined the Garden City 8 Ball Pool League and competed in numerous tournaments.
