John T. Ngirachedeng, 58, died Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. He was born June 11, 1959 in Peleliu, Palau the son of Ngirachedeng Ngeskesiuk and Lbong Tilei.
John has been a resident of Garden City since 1959. He attended Garden City Community College. John worked for many years in the shipping department for Tyson. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and cooking.
On June 12, 1981, he married Vicki Cruz in Garden City. She survives. Other survivors include 8 children Anthony Morales of Garden City, Jeanette Pineda of Garden City, Timothy Morales of Pueblo, CO, Jonathan Ngirachedeng of Garden City, Nicole Ngirachedeng of Garden City, Thomas Ngirachedeng of Garden City, Isaac Ngirachedeng of Garden City, and Joshua Ngirachedeng of Garden City; a brother James Ngirachedeng of Palau; 4 sisters Nancy N. Ngirarikel, Helencia Ngirachedeng, Ochob Ngirachedeng, and Lorraine Ngirachedeng all of Palau; and 18 grandchildren. John is preceded in death by his parents; and a sister Margarita N. Ngiraked.
A rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 18, 2017 also at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City with Fr. Charles Seiwert as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 P.M. on Thursday all at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City.
