Obituary for Robin W. Hart
Robin W. Hart, 56, died Saturday, August 26, 2017 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. He was born October 5, 1960 in Ulysses, Kansas the son of Robert Wesley Hart and Gerry Ann Kernion Hart Roark.
Robin lived in Colorado and Arizona until moving to Garden City in 1997. He has lived in Garden City since. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado and has been a client of Summit Rescare since 1999. Robin enjoyed cooking, listening to music, watching movies, tinkering, and visiting with friends and family.
Survivors include his mother and step-father Gerry & Johnnie Roark of Garden City; a brother Randall (Dana) Hart of Mena, Arkansas; a sister Gwen (Wayne) Goss of Garden City, Kansas; numerous nieces and nephews; 2 uncles Johnny (Lillian) Kernion of North Carolina and Carlos (Pilar) Kernion of Mexico City; and an aunt Laura (Larry) McWharter of North Carolina. Robin is preceded in death by his father Robert Wesley Hart; Paternal Grandparents Donald T. & Ella M. Hart; Maternal Grandparents Carlos Kernion & Helen Oster; and an uncle Gerardo Kernion Ferrer.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City with Rev. Tod Anthony officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later date. There will be no calling hours. The family suggests memorials given to the Robin W. Hart Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
