Obituary for Linda K. DeBusk

Dighton- Linda K. DeBusk, 59, died on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at her home in Dighton. She was born on July 28, 1958 at Hoisington, the Daughter of Adolph J. & Darlene B. (Standlee) Honomichl. She married Raymond E. DeBusk on November 20, 1982 at Ellinwood.

Linda attended Ellinwood Schools and then worked in Fiberglass and as a welder in Great Bend. She moved to Greensburg where she worked for farmers and drove a semi with her husband. In 2006 they moved to Dighton where she worked at the Dighton Herald.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dighton and the National Rifle Association. She enjoyed raising her flowers and shooting guns.

Survivors include Her Husband- Raymond E. DeBusk of the Home, 3 Children- Matthew DeBusk of Seward, Christy DeBusk of Great Bend & Ivor DeBusk of Dodge City, Parents- Adolph & Darlene Honomichl of Great Bend, 1 Brother- Steve Honomichl of Ellinwood, 1 Sister- Karen Bookout of Ellinwood & 4 Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM Monday at the First Baptist Church in Dighton with Rev Danny Parker and Rev Amon Tidmore officiating. Graveside Service will be at 3:00 PM Monday at Lakin-Comanche District Cemetery in Ellinwood. Calling Hours will be from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday at Boomhower Funeral Home in Dighton. Memorials are suggested to Cancer Center of Kansas- Dodge City in care of Boomhower Funeral Home. Condolences may be posted at www.garnandfuneralhomes.com
