Miss Salazar was born in Durango and raised in Juarez before coming to live permanently to Garden City in 1998 with her sister, Graciela Molina; brother-in law, Eusevio Molina; niece, Blanca Bribiesca, nephew, Carlos Bribiesca & great-niece, Ada Bribiesca. Her mental disabilities did not keep her from living her life to the fullest. She loved to write letters, draw beautiful pictures, and listen to Los Bukis. She had an amazing sense of humor and brought much laughter and light to her family in the brief time God lent her to them.
