Obituary for Dusty Rose Sullivan

Garden City- Dusty Rose Sullivan, 29, died on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Via Christi Regional Medical Center- St Francis Campus in Wichita. She was born on October 7, 1987 at Garden City the daughter of Steve Shinogle and Brenda A. Hill. She married Brandon Scott Sullivan on December 20, 2009 at Garden City. Together they raised their twin boys, Austin Cole Sullivan and Brady Kade Sullivan.

Dusty graduated from Holcomb High School in 2006 and attended Emporia State University. While she worked several jobs over her life, her most important and full-time occupation was that of a stay at home Mother to their boys. She enjoyed crafts , listening to country music, cheering on the New England Patriots and was involved in the Multiple Sclerosis Society, though she preferred her time spent to be cheering on her boys and spending time with them and her husband.. She attended the Bible Christian Church in Garden City

She is survived by her Husband- Brandon Sullivan of the Home, 2 Sons- Austin Sullivan & Brady Sullivan of the Home, Mother & Step-Father Brenda A. & Paul Hill of Garden City, Father & Step-Mother Steve & Tracy Shinogle of Dodge City, 3 Sisters- Chelsea & Justin Kessler of Holcomb, Sarah Hill of Wichita & Katelyn Hill of Garden City, Step-Brother Hank & Virginia Jett of Amarillo, 2 Step-Sisters Amanda Jett of Amarillo, Jessi & Jarrod Caudle of Amarillo, Grandparents- Jean Klaus of Holcomb & Caroline Klaus of Garden City & Claude & Jean Shinogle of Minneola. She was preceded in death by her Sister- A.J. Shinogle & Grandfather- Albert Klaus.

Funeral Service will be at 10:30 AM Thursday at the Bible Christian Church in Garden City with Rev. Scott Rosen presiding. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. The family suggests that attendees wear some small form of the Color Orange, Dusty’s favorite color and also in honor of Multiple Sclerosis Awareness.
