Bobby was a kind and generous guy! He was front and center when both of my parents died, and I appreciate his service to our country, and our community! He was such a patriot! I have his gift to my Father when he died, a hedge post with a flag to honor Dad's service in the Navy during WWII! Bobby was a vet himself, but honored so many! He was a very special person, God Bless America, and may God bless Bobby! He will have a special place next to God in heaven!

So sorry about your Dad I knew him he was at a Comfort Zone through Hospice that I attended cause and he drove me around as I could not walk far cause far due to my oxygen level ..

Bob, better known to many as Bubba, was a truly kind soul. I worked with him for many of his zoo years, and encountered him in the community in the years since his retirement, at blood drives, many funerals (he attended them all just to be sure someone was there to remember and honor them) and at just about every community event. I don't think he has missed a holiday meal at the zoo since he retired, and was always counted on to give a blessing before the meal. It is inconceivable to think he is really gone, and the community has lost a true patriot and kind person. Deepest condolences to all of his family!
