Garden City- Robert I. “Bob” Isaacson, 74, died on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at St Catherine Hospital in Garden City. He was born on August 22, 1943 at Abilene, Kansas the son of Irving R. & Anjeannette M. (Wetzel) Isaacson. He married Bettie K. Thompson on May 25, 1962 at Superior, Nebraska.

Robert grew up in Scandia and graduated from Scandia High School in 1961. He entered the work force and worked most of his life in advertising sales in Kansas, Nebraska & Oklahoma. He retired and later moved back to Garden City in 2017.

He was a member of the First Christian Church of Garden City. His life was work and family. He collected antique radios and enjoyed traveling to include a Caribbean cruise with his senior high school class.

He is survived by his Wife- Bettie K. Isaacson, Daughter- Kim & Paul Bayer of Garden City, Son- Todd I. Isaacson of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, Brother- James & Pam Isaacson of Scandia, Sister- Jeannette Kpissay of Crystal, Minnesota, 6 Grandchildren- Branden & Jordan Gabel, Ashley R. & Kirby Fryman, Karissa & Clay Couch, Sara & Tracy Mannel, Robert I. & Carly Isaacson & Alan & Ashley A. Bayer and 11 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Brother- William “Bill” Isaacson.

Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM Friday at the First Christian Church in Garden City with Rev Scott Schurle officiating. Interment will be in Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
