Kenneth W. Arnold, 61, died Saturday, November 18, 2017 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. He was born November 29, 1955 in Garden City the son of Robert Dean & Flora Mae (Staley) Arnold.
Kenneth lived most of his life in Garden City. He worked for St. Catherine Hospital for 40 years and retired in 2015. Kenneth enjoyed rodeo, horses, growing roses, fishing, photography, and volunteering for Fellowship of Christian Cowboys at rodeos, and volunteering at the Southwest Kansas Pro-Am and Beef Empire Days.
Survivors include 3 sisters Virginia “Gena” Young, Sandra & husband Ken Naab, and Jaylene & husband Gary Gipson all of Garden City; and 9 nieces and nephews. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Danny Arnold.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City with Randy Fisher officiating. There will be no calling hours. The family suggests memorials given to the Kenneth Arnold Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
