Obituary for L.A. Ford

Garden City- L.A. Ford, 66, died on Monday, November 27, 2017 at St Catherine Hospital in Garden City. He was born on July 27, 1951 in Harper County the son of Lorn & Wilma May (Morris) Ford.

L.A. was a lifelong Garden City resident. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and after his discharge he returned to Garden City and worked for Dillon’s for over 37 years.

He is survived by his Brother- Billy L. Ford of Garden City, Sister- Paula L. Kelley of South Hutchinson, Niece- Savanna Anderson of Grand Falls, Minnesota & Nephew- Deon Jordan of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 M Friday at Valley View Cemetery Niches in Garden City with Von Hunn officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Kansas Army National Guard Honor Guard. Memorials are suggested to St Catherine Hospice in care of Garnand Funeral Home. Condolences may be posted at www.garnandfuneralhomes.com.
