Jean-Aurel Henrisme, 62, died Friday, November 17, 2017 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. He was born October 30, 1955 in Haiti the son of Saint Fleus Henrisme and Melida Eustache.
Jean-Aurel went to school to lycee Petion Port-au-Prince where he achieved his high school degree. He worked most of his life in Haiti as an automotive mechanic technician. After moving to Garden City, he worked at Tyson. He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Garden City.
On January 15, 2005, he married Alexis Rosemonde in Miami, Florida. She survives. Other survivors include nine children Hermana Henrisme of Garden City, KS, Ronald Henrisme of Santiago, Chile, Orelson Henrisme of Santiago, Chile, Judith Henrisme of Haiti, Melida Henrisme of Haiti, Yvette Henrisme of Haiti, Nichols Henrisme of Miami, FL, Ananda Henrisme of Miami, FL, & Adelrose Henrisme of Miami, FL; and four grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City with Pastor Myrthil dit Jimmy Mompremier officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in garden City. Friends may call from 5;00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City.
