Dighton- Lynn Schriock, 64, died on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He was born on March 23, 1953 at Garden City the son of LaVerne I. & Lorine J. Schriock.

Lynn was a 1971 graduate from Dighton High School. He earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Agriculture & Business from Fort Hays State University. He was a lifetime Lane County residence. He worked for Stephen’s Lumber Company for 18 years before taking over the family farming and ranching in 1993.

Lynn served as a member for over 40 years on the Dighton and Lane County Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Dighton Rotary Club for 25 years.

Funeral Service will be at 10:30AM Thursday at the First Christian Church in Dighton with Rev Airee Smith officiating. Burial will be in Dighton Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church in care of Boomhower Funeral Home. Calling hours will be from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Boomhower Funeral Home in Dighton.
