Condolences

Condolence From: Cindy Fenton
Condolence: While I didn't know Jim, I do know his children, Byron & Tiffany. If his children are any indication, he must have been a great father, husband and friend. My heartfelt condolences go out to all of Jim's family & friends. May the Holy Spirit lift you and guide you in the coming days.

Condolence From: Scott Daniel
Condolence: LaVerne, Byron and Tiffany: I was so saddened to read about Jim’s passing and wanted you to know how much I enjoyed/valued his friendship, advice and comradarie during our coaching days and thereafter. Even though our orbits did not cross very often, I considered Jim to be a good friend and will miss seeing the ornery twinkling in his eyes when we started talking about sports, families and kids. While I didn’t get to meet the rest of Jim’s family, it was clear to me that he was a great family man and was extremely proud of Byron and Tiffany. I relished the banter with LaVerne, their special relationship and their uncompromising support of family. Your families’ attendance, assistance, support and help with all those basketball games was invaluable and appreciated. I was so grateful that Jim assumed coaching the Tornados when I ‘retired’ and know the team benefited from his guidance. The passing of good friends like Jim always causes guilt for letting our busy lives squander the opportunity to hang out and spin some more yarns. If there is any comfort that ‘words’ can provide upon the loss of a parent, or a spouse, then I hope these few sentences have helped. Please know that if there is anything I can do for you, just give me a holler.
