Condolence: I am David and Ruth Edwards daughter. I am so sorry for your family's loss. I haven't seen Steve sense I was a little girl, but I remember how kind he was. His passing isn't only a great loss for his family, but for anyone that had the privilege of knowing him. I have no doubt that he and dad are driving the sweetest, most cherry of chevelles again. Condolence: To the Family of Steve Britt
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Steve Britt in your loss.
Steve was always actively involved in something every day. He kept busy with work and seemed to enjoy anything he was doing. He was always friendly and would take time to talk even when he was rushed. I enjoyed talking to him because he often had a different outlook on things than what you might think. He was very dedicated to his bus driving position and he wouldn’t let anything even his junk iron business get in the way of his daily routine of driving the school bus.
He loved cars and often talked about the vehicles he was working on. He had a smile and a twinkle in his eye which was very noticeable when he talked about things he was doing. He was a very good customer but more than that I enjoyed talking to him about what he was doing. He was always able to describe what he had to do that day with great detail.
I thought about Steve often after he left Elkhart.
He will be missed by all and his memory will be with me forever.
My prayers and thoughts are with all of the family during this time.
