Condolence: Denise - I was so sorry to read about Gardell. He was so much fun to be around when we were growing up. Living so close, we hung around together in those early years. I remember him teaching me how a coke would eat (dissolve) an entire penny. Made quite an impression on me. Being teased was something I had to endure from a neighborhood full of boys. School was great fun and I do remember his interest in sports. He was competitive and an outstanding athlete. I was so glad to see him the last time he came to Stafford. Would love to see you when you come to Stafford. Thanks for taking care of him. Ruth
