Born: December 25, 1981 in Scott City, Kansas to Leo Edward Brehm and
Sheryl Yoder.


Preceded in death by an infant son- Landon Kamphofner; parents-Leo Edward Brehm and Sheryl Yoder.


JaKayla was born in Scott City and was raised and attended schools in Ingalls and Garden City. Most recently she lived and worked as a Paraprofessional at Southwestern Heights Jr High in Kismet. She loved reading to her children, and nieces and nephews. She could bring any story to life with her talented narrating skills. Her hobbies included making baby blankets, camping, and watching Harry Potter films. Her version of “You Are My Sunshine” holds a special place in her daughter Brittany’s heart. She will be greatly missed by family, friends, and the many students whose lives she touched.

Funeral Service will take place Wednesday March 14, 2018 at 12:00 pm at the Southwestern Heights Jr./Sr High School Auditorium, 17222 Mustang Road, Kismet Kansas with Brother Vallejo officiating. Graveside Service will be at 4:00 pm Wednesday March 14, 2018 at Scott City Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. There will be no public visitation.
