Obituary for Marjorie Ann Abrigo

Marjorie Ann  Abrigo
Garden City- Marjorie Ann Abrigo, 64, died on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Homestead Health And Rehabilitation Center in Garden City. She was born on August 30, 1953 at Garden City the daughter of Wesley W. & Barbara Joanne (Fulton) Werner. She married Tomas Ricardo Abrigo, Jr. on August 4, 1979 at Garden City. He died on January 28, 2013.

Marjorie graduated from Ingalls High School and Emporia State University with her Bachelor of Science in Education. She taught in Goodland and Lakin before moving to Garden City in 1987 and was a longtime Special Education teacher at Garden City High School. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Garden City. She enjoyed sewing, reading and being involved with her Grandchildren’s activities. She was preceded in death by her Sister- Patricia Werner.

Survivors include her Son- Aaron Tomas Abrigo of Casper, Wyoming, Daughter- Amber N. & Delmer E. Towns, II of Garden City, Parents- Wesley & Joanne Werner of Garden City, Brother- David & Wendy Werner of Neosho, Missouri, 5 Grandchildren and Niece- Kira Mitchell of Neosho, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM Friday, May 18, 2018 at Garnand Funeral Home with Rev Joel Plisek officiating. Memorials are suggested to Russell Child Development in care of Garnand Funeral Home. Condolences may be posted at www.garnandfuneralhomes.com.
