Obituary for Kendall Rae Stimatze-Marez

Kendall Rae Stimatze-Marez, 4, died Wednesday, July 4, 2018 in Conway, South Carolina. She was born April 29, 2014 in Garden City, Kansas. Kendall loved the outdoors and staring at the moon. She also enjoyed riding her bike, playing dolls, coloring, and mermaids. Her favorite color is yellow and her favorite princess is Belle.
Survivors include her mother Bailey Stimatze of Garden City; her father Andrew Marez of Garden City; Grandparents Darrin & Janelle Stimatze of Garden City and Elizabeth Stahlecker of Garden City; Great-Grandparents Larry & Amanda Stimatze of Garden City and Jack & Sharon Harbour of Green Sea, South Carolina; two Aunts Brooklyn Stimatze of Garden City and Treva Van Auken of Maize, Kansas; an Uncle Gavin Stimatze of Garden City, Kansas; and many cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Garden City with Rev. Joel Plisek and Rev. John Montgomery officiating. The family would also like to encourage everyone to wear Kendall’s favorite color Yellow to the service. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.. on Monday at Garnand Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials given to the Kendall Rae Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
