Obituary for Justin Allen Lane

Justin Allen Lane, 25, died Friday, October 5, 2018 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born July 18, 1993 in Lakin, Kansas the son of Chuck R. & Dana (McNeely) Lane.
Justin grew up in Lakin and attended Lakin schools. He moved to Dodge City, Kansas in 2015 and has lived in Dodge City since. Justin worked as a storm chaser and was known as “Kansas Tornado.” He enjoyed camping, fishing, racing, electronics, computers, driving, traveling, music, and spending time with his family.
On June 27, 2015, he married Kourtney Leigh Koroshec in Lakin. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter Kylie Lane of Dodge City; a Step-Son Trevin Knight of Dodge City; his parents Chuck & Dana Lane of Lakin, Kansas; Grandparents Larry McNeely of Lakin, Kansas, Sandy Lane of Lakin, Kansas, & Ralph & wife Yvette Lane of Garden City, Kansas; a brother Josh Lane of Dodge City, Kansas; sister Chloe Lane of Garden City, Kansas; a Nephew Kaesyn Rodriguez of Dodge City, Kansas; and his Father-In-Law & Mother-In-Law Kevin Koroshec and Kathy Hines of Johnson, Kansas.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the Lakin Wesleyan Church in Lakin, Kansas with Pastor Chris McFadden officiating. Burial will follow at the Lakin Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Garnand Funeral Home in Lakin. The family suggests memorials given to Kourtney Lane in helping with her children’s education.
