Obituary for Jonnie Wayne Howard

Garden City- Jonnie Wayne Howard, 68, died on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at his home in Garden City. He was born on March 24, 1950 at Syracuse the son of Clifford & Maxine (Pritchard) Howard.

Jonnie attended Ulysses schools and Salina Vo-Tech for welding. He worked on Oil rigs for a time and then was a longtime Deerfield and Garden City resident and had worked at C & S Cattle Handling Equipment, IBP & Hydro Resources Mid Continent. He enjoyed fishing flying kites, his flower garden & was a Kansas City Chiefs fan. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Sister- Cindy Zielinski, Brother- Jim Howard and 1 Grandson.

He is survived by 4 Sons- Johnny Howard of Garden City, Joshua Howard of Santa Monica, California, Shiloh Matthew Howard of Paris, Kentucky & Seth Adam Howard of Astoria, Oregon, 2 Daughters- Amber Gerstberger and Skyler Lightner both of Garden City, Brother- David Howard of Drumright, Oklahoma, 14 Grandchildren & 1 Great-Granddaughter.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Jonnie Howard Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home. Condolences may be posted at www.garnandfuneralhomes.com
