Tina Marie Roark, age 50, died October 20, 2009 at her residence in Johnson, Kansas. She was born March 20, 1959 in Oakdale, California, the daughter of Lowell Wayne and May Elizabeth (Cross) Jones. |
Tina moved to Johnson when she was a week old and has lived most of her life there. She graduated from Garden City Community College in 1992 with a Nursing Degree. She has been a paramedic and emergency medical technician and a nurse at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses as well as Stanton County Hospital in Johnson. She moved back to Johnson four years ago. Tina enjoyed her companionship with her dog Lilly, spending her free time gardening, going to auctions and antiquing. |
Survivors include one son Michael Roark and fiancé Shawna of Garden City, Kansas; father and step mother, Lowell and Pat Jones of Johnson; brother, John Holder of Wichita, Kansas; sister, Linda Briggs of Ulysses, Kansas; many nieces and nephews including niece Misty Blackburn and husband Brigham; and numerous aunts and uncles. |
Tina is preceded in death by her mother May Jones, and brother Edward Holder. |
