Benny Perales, 54, of Garden City, Kansas died on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Via Christi-St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on April 24, 1955 in Garden City, Kansas the son of Leonardo and Lorenza (Escalon) Perales.

Benny was born and raised in Garden City. He attended Garden City High School and graduated in 1972. After high school Benny worked at various jobs including the Freezer Services, Garden Belle Lumber Yard, Home Lumber and worked in different construction companies. He enjoyed camping, socializing with his friends and spending time with his family. He was a fun and easy going person that really enjoyed life.

Survivors include a daughter, Amber Perales of Hemet, California; three brothers, Leonard Perales Jr. of Garden City, Kansas, Rosario Perales of Wichita, Kansas and Ralph Perales of Garden City, Kansas; three sisters, Isabel Corral of Bullhead City, Arizona, Rosie Perales of Garden City, Kansas and Andra Molina of Garden City, Kansas; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Steven and Cirilo Perales.
