Virginia Guebara, age 48, died Friday, November 20, 2009 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born October 6, 1961 in Brownfield, Texas the daughter of Bernandino and Francisca (Esquivel) Guebara.

Virginia came to Garden City with her parents in 1959. Moving from Meadow, Texas, she attended Valentine Special School in Garden City. She was a member of the Primera Iglesia Nazarena of Garden City. Her hobbies were coloring, singing, writing, watching television, spending time with her family, listening to music and playing the piano.

Survivors include four brothers, Sylvester Guebara of Amarillo, Texas, Andrew Guebara of Garden City, Kansas, Lewis Guebara of Hutchinson, Kansas, John Guebara of Wichita, Kansas; seven sisters, Esther Rodriguez of Apple Valley, California, Fransica Valverde of Garden City, Kansas, Estella Mull of Garden City, Kansas, Linda Martinez of Ulysses, Kansas, Juanita Breese of Ulysses, Kansas, Verna Rodriguez of Garden City, Kansas, Christina Warren of Larned, Kansas; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three nephews.
