Survivors: Marvin is survived by his parents Donald Lee and Ruth Ann Miller of Dighton, one brother Lucas and wife Kami Miller and their children Gabriel, Mackayla and Madison of Gove, one sister Jennifer Ann and husband Keegan Hemel and their children Nikki Ann, Mara Dawn, Lane Christian and Iean Gene of Atwood, grandparents Clem and Pauline Zerr of Grinnell and Verl and Twila Miller of Spearville and many aunts and uncles.


Marvin grew up in Dighton and graduated with the class of 1999 from Dighton High school. While in Dighton High School he was involved in football, annual musical play and woodshop. After he graduated he entered the Kansas Army National Guard and did his basic training and A.I.T. Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He then attended Northwest Kansas Technical School in Goodland and studied diesel mechanics. He worked as a diesel mechanic at Mittel Trucking in Oakley and then at Becker Tire Company and Detroit Diesel in Great Bend. In November of 2004 he moved to Junction City and was currently working for hte U.S. Army at Fort Riley. He was also serving in the 170th Maintenance Company of the Kansas Army National Guard. He enjoyed his dune buggy, dirt bikes, 4-wheelers and being with his nieces and nephews.
