Name: David C. Irwin
David C. Irwin, 60 of Garden City died Friday, November 14, 2014 at his home in Garden City. He was born July 23, 1954 in Daytona Beach, Florida the son of Harry Thomas & Mary (Landress) Irwin.
David lived in Las Vegas, Nevada before moving to Garden City. He later moved to Galveston, Texas and returned back to Garden City in 2002. He has lived in Garden City since. David worked most of his life as a handy man and maintenance worker.
On February 27, 1992 he married Cynthia E. Wachs in Las Vegas, Nevada. She survives. Other survivors include four step-children Sheila Chaloupek of Clayton, New Mexico, Arlyn Chaloupek of Beaver, Oklahoma, Jeremy Hull of Liberal, Kansas, and Jesse Hull of Beaver, Oklahoma; and six step-grandchildren. David is preceded in death by his parents; a brother Thomas Irwin; and a step-granddaughter.
A private family service will take place at a later date. There will be no calling hours. The family requests memorials given to the Finney County Humane Society in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
