Obituary for Linda L. Immroth

Linda L. Immorth, 71, died Saturday, January 14, 2017 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. She was born January 10, 1946 in Larned, Kansas the daughter of Joseph H. & Dolores I. (McConnell) Wren.
Linda grew up in Larned where she attended school. She moved to Garden City in the early 1970’s. Linda worked as a medical aid at various nursing homes in Garden City. On August 21, 1961, she married Ronald J. Koch in Larned, Kansas. Linda later married Jack D. Immroth on September 22, 1989 in Garden City. Linda was a member and served as President of the Garden City VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed NASCAR, and the Dallas Cowboys.
Survivors include four children David (Shaula) Koch of Broken Arrow, OK, Michelle (Kurt) Snyder of Cimarron, KS, Joe (Michelle) Koch of Larned, KS, and Melissa (Jeff) Moore of Ingalls, KS; a brother Joseph Wren of Larned, KS; two sisters Rebecca Bussard of Colorado Springs, CO and Dolores Wren of Larned, KS; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Linda is preceded in death by her husband Jack who died on January 7, 2016. She is also preceded in death by her parents; a sister Patty Shriver; and a grandson Daniel Glaze.
A Celebration of Linda’s live will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City with Pastor Richard Deimund officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. There will be no calling hours. The family request memorials given to the Ft. Dodge Soldier’s Home in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
