Obituary for Ramon Enriquez Barragan

Dateline: Garden City

Ramon Enriquez Barragan, 17, died Sunday July 15, 2018 in Finney County, Kansas. He was born September 25, 2000 in Garden City, Kansas to Estela Robledo and Jose Jaime Enriquez Reyes.

Ramon was born and raised in Garden City. He attended Alta Brown, Bernadine Sitts, and the Alternative School where he was in the 11th grade. He enjoyed playing video games, boxing and singing. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Youth Group Arcoiris, Bad Boyz Boxing Club and Project Fitness. Described as a kind hearted young man, he always put others before himself.

Survivors include his parents- Jose Jaime & Sonia Enriquez Reyes and Estella Robledo; siblings- Felipe Robledo, Brenda Robledo, Antonio Robledo, Belen Robledo, Isabella Perez, Mia Guadalupe Enriquez, Juliett Enriquez, Luna Enriquez; Grandparents- Ramon Barragan & Minerva Barragan & Sofia Reyes Pacheco & numerous aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his uncle-Alejandro Barragan; aunt- Maria Del Rocio Enriquez & grandfather- Anselmo Enriquez

Rosary is 7:30 pm Thursday July 19, 2018 & Funeral Mass will be 1:00 pm Friday July 20, 2018 both at St. Mary Catholic Church. Visitation is Thursday July 19, 2018 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Garnand Funeral Home, 412 N 7th Street, Garden City and Friday July 20, 2018 from 9:00 am to service time on at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery. Memorials are to Project Fitness to start a scholarship program for underprivileged children in care of Garnand Funeral Home.
