It was such a joy to accompany Davon in his Middle School choir. He had an electric personality, not to mention a beautiful singing voice, and was a natural leader. I miss your smile, Davon.

We will always love him. He’s an angel now and he’ll be there with us every day. Just because we can’t see him doesn’t mean he’s not there, Davon was an amazing guy full of so much joy, love, and happiness. He was one of the most amazing, outgoing, courageous, smart, funny people I’ve ever met. Davon will always be in our hearts and constantly cross our minds and that’s okay, it’s going to be his way of staying with us. Now he’s in a better place showing up other football players. I knew Davon. I didn’t know him for a long period of time but for the short time I did know him he was always putting smiles on peoples faces. I wish he was still here with us today but I know the hurt he was feeling is gone now and he is at peace. He was a great guy and a role model to plenty of people, it hurts to say he has gone home with God. I wish I would’ve been able to help him the way he helped others but I know he isn’t hurting anymore. Y’all will get through this because y’all have got God with you guys. I know losing someone is really tough especially when they are family but although it’s something nobody will truly ever get over there is still a chance for happiness.
