Obituary for Anna Rose Roth

Anna Rose Roth, 90, died Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita, Kansas. She was born January 17, 1928 in Garden City the daughter of William Luther & Georgia Bernice (Green) Pace.
Anna has lived most of her life in Garden City. She attended Garden City schools and graduated from Garden City High School. A homemaker, Anna was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Finney County Senior Center RSVP. She loved painting, crafts, traveling, camping, bowling, and making quilts for her children, Grandchildren, and Great-Grandchildren.
On August 26, 1947, she married Leonard Frank Roth in Garden City. He died July 13, 2008. Anna is also preceded in death by her parents, a sister Thelma Jane Rose; and a brother Urban Pace.
Survivors include three children Duane & wife Nancy Roth of Haven, Kansas, Susan Becker of Garden City, Kansas, and Karen & husband Bobby Baldwin of Springfield, Missouri; a sister Mildred Faulconer of Wheatland, Wyoming; six Grandchildren Lesha, Michael, Levi, Shana, Blake, & Ryan; nine Great-Grandchildren Auden, Abbie, Jacob, Ryley, Reed, Amy, Mason, Aryon, & Anthony; and a Great Great-Grandchild Hadley.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Garden City with Fr. Warren Stecklein officiating. Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to Noon Saturday all at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. The family suggests memorials given to Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo in care of the funeral home.
