Roman was born in California and raised in Garden City. He graduated from Garden City Senior High School and was currently employed at Tyson. He was a good son, friend, and father. His hobbies included socializing and listening to music.

He is survived by his mother-Silvia Guzman; Brother-Christian Guzman; Companion-Cristina Escobedo; Children-Analycia Escobedo, Anthony Escobedo, Julian Guzman & Avalina Escobedo; Father-Roman Malagon & Grandfather-Jose Luis Malagon. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents-Juan Ramon Mayorga & Enedina Garcia Magallanes and Maria Julia Torales.
