Lakin- Jack Darrol Boegel, 84, died on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Kearny County Hospital in Lakin. He was born on October 2, 1934 at Greeley, Colorado the son of Cletus & Virgie (Conaway) Boegel. He married Janice Kerzic on February 14, 1956 at Greeley, Colorado.

Jack graduated from Galeton, Colorado High School in 1952. He was a lifelong farmer in the Greeley, Wray & Lakin areas. He moved to Lakin in 1998. He was a member of St Anthony Catholic Church in Lakin. He enjoyed attending the Indianapolis 500 and watching NASCAR racing. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Son-In-Law Terry Deines.

He is survived by his Wife- Janice Boegel of the Home, 2 Daughters- Teresa Deines of Eaton, Colorado and Cheryl & Todd Shafer of Wray, Colorado, 2 Sons- Doug Boegel of Loveland, Colorado and Warren Boegel of Lakin, Sister- Sharon & Bruce Nix of Corpus Christi, Texas, 11 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Nieces and 1 Nephew.

Rosary will be at 9:30 AM Tuesday and Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM Tuesday both at St Anthony Catholic Church in Lakin with Rev Peter Tran as Celebrant.
