Obituary for Gerardo A "Lalo" Ramirez

Gerardo A. “Lalo” Ramirez, 25, died August 19, 2019 in Finney County Kansas. He was born March 29, 1994 in El Paso, Texas the son of Serapio and Guadalupe (Rendon) Ramirez.
Lalo was born in El Paso and moved to Garden City, with his family in 1999. He attended Garden City High School. He had worked at Old Chicago and Pie Five as a Chef. He was a loving person who always had a smile, hug, or kind word to share with friends and family. He enjoyed rapping, playing PlayStation, and being with his friends. Because he did not have children of his own he loved his nieces and nephews dearly. He would do anything for them. “Beaver”, as he was affectionately know by his family and close friends, will leave a special place in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents-Elena Estrada, Manuel Rendon and Domitila Chavez and Aunt Alejandra Ramirez. He leaves as survivors his Parents- Serapio & Guadalupe Ramirez of Garden City; Siblings-Jose Rodriguez Jr. of El Paso, Texas, Rene Rodriguez of El Paso Texas, Luz Elena Ramirez of Garden City, and Cesar Antonio Ramirez of Garden City, Godparents Aracely Romo and Alberto Lares of Garden City.
A Rosary will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday August 27, 2019 and a Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm.. on Wednesday August 28, 2019, both at Iglesia Luterana Sagrado Corazon de Jesus, 518 N 11th Street, Garden City Kansas with Padre Odir Flores officiating. Calling Hours will be 9:00 am to Rosary time on Tuesday August 27, 2019 and 9:00 am to Funeral Service time on Wednesday August 28, 2019 also at the Iglesia Luterana Sagrado Corazon de Jesus.
