Joel Neave DeLaRosa, 67, died Friday September 27, 2019 at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita, Kansas. He was born the son of J. Socorro Neave and Maria Guadalupe DeLaRosa Neave in Nieves, Zacates, Mexico on February 4, 1952.
Joel was born and raised in Mexico before coming to Garden City in 1975. He worked for Monfort for over 20 years before retiring in 2002. He first married San Juana Lira-Vega and later Adelaida Niave. He enjoyed listening to music, dancing and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a Brother-Guadalupe Neave DeLaRosa.

Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Monday September 30, 2019 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Jacob Schneider officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday September 29, 2019 at Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City. Family suggests Memorial to The Jose Neave Memorial Fund in Care of Garnand Funeral Home.
