Obituary for Daxton Thomas Leens
Daxton Thomas Leens, 4 month old son of Meghan Leens, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born May 10, 2019 in Garden City, Kansas.
Daxton enjoyed taking bubble baths, playing with his toys, and watching cartoons with his cousins. He also loved his green monkey blanket, spending time with his brother, and having his brother sing to him.
Survivors include his mother Meghan Leens of the home; a brother Benjamin Leens; grandparents Robin Lightfoot and Ernest Brungardt & Bill and Marilynn Nolte; his aunt Tonia (Greg) Snead; his uncle Dana Leens; and cousins Dominic, Brasyn, Boston, Liliana, & Trinidad all of Garden City.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Cornerstone Church in Garden City with Pastor Monte Humphrey officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Meghan Leens in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
