John V. “Wolfie” Wolfe, 52, died on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Kearny County Hospital in Lakin. He was born on February 28, 1967 at Garden City the Son of Ronald Eugene and Dorothy Jeanne (Brewer) Wolfe. John was mentally and physically handicapped at birth and at the age of 5 he entered Winfield State Hospital. In 1995 he was moved to Garden City to live in a group home. John was cared for by Sunflower Home Health and later Mosaic. Every caregiver that John had, cared for him dearly. He was always a favorite in any group home he lived in. He was always in a good mood and his caregivers could always make him laugh.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City with Von Hunn officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. Friends may call from 9:00 AM to Service time Saturday at Garnand Funeral Home.
