Obituary for Trey Zorn
Jerry “Trey” Zorn III, 24, died Saturday, November 30, 2019 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. He was born September 18, 1995 in Garden City, Kansas.
Trey grew up in Garden City and attended Garden City schools. He later moved to Dodge City, Kansas where he continued his schooling. Trey worked under his brother in the oilfield business. He enjoyed spending his time with family especially his nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed hunting, shooting, learning, playing pool, and playing darts.
Survivors include his mother Consuela Guillen Oviedo of Garden City; his father Jerry Zorn, Jr. of Cope, S.C.; siblings Jeremiah Rodriguez of Garden City, Donnie Rodriguez of Garden City, Alix Rodriguez of Dodge City, Ks., Cadarina Zorn of San Antonio, Tx., Taegan Zorn of Cope, SC, Trace Zorn of Cope, SC, Trevor Zorn of Cope, SC, & Tyler Zorn of Cope, SC; his grandparents Lupe & Sharon Guillen of Garden City; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Trey is preceded in death by his step-father Armando Oviedo; an uncle Donnie Guillen; and a cousin Armando Rincones.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City with Pastor Raul Silva officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m.t o service time Friday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. The family suggests memorials given to the Trey Zorn Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
